Simply by joining Citizens for the Arts in Pennsylvania, you become a member of a grassroots coalition of citizens committed to advancing the arts in Pennsylvania through advocacy, programs, and services. You make it possible for the staff and board members of Citizens for the Arts to represent the interests and concerns of artists and arts organizations more effectively. You enable us to engage in activities like Arts Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C. and Arts in Education Day and Tourism Day, in Harrisburg, which are designed to increase awareness of the arts among the public and its leaders.
