October is National Arts & Humanities Month.  Take this opportunity to advocate for the arts by writing an op-ed piece about the important role the arts play in your community for your local newspaper. Invite your legislators to a performance, exhibit, lecture, etc. and take the opportunity to discuss the impact the arts have on community revitalization. Encourage your family, friends, board members, and patrons to follow your lead.  For more information about National Arts & Humanities Month
